More - Red Rocks Worship

This song made Song Of The Week 6th January

John 16:24 (NLT) “You haven’t done this before. Ask, using My name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.”

‘More’ by Red Rocks Worship is a song that allows us to lay out all we have and all our praises to God. Opening us up to being able to simply ask God for more. As it says in John 16, it is simple, ask in His name and we will receive. That is the beauty of God’s fathership.

What Love Looks Like - Elle Limebear

This song made Song Of The Week 13th January

1 John 4:19 (NLT) “We love each other because He first loved us.”

What Love Looks Like is a song that describes God’s amazing love for us and how He loves us no matter what. He loved us then giving His life for us so all our sins could be forgiven, the truest demonstration of love. Even after we may do thing after thing that doesn’t please Him. He still looks upon us with Father eyes and not leaving us behind when we are lost.

Pour Out My Life - Dan Goodwright

This song made Song Of The Week 20th January

John 14:6 (NIV) “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

‘Pour Out My Life’ speaks about us living our lives as worship as well as singing worship songs because we know that a life laid down is a life He can use. It points to Jesus as the ultimate source of hope and guidance through every difficult day, trying time and mysterious moment. He’s Lord of all and yet delights to come close to us. He’s the Saviour who loves us infinitely more than we could ever know, so much so that He gave His life for us. Our response is to worship Him and to surrender our lives to His ways and plans as He tells us in John 14:6.

Citizen Of Heaven - Tauren Wells

This song made Song Of The Week 27th January

Romans 12:2 (NLT) “Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

This Alternative Worship style song is a song about declaring who we are in the name of God. It teaches us to not get caught up in what we can see and experience in the world we live in, but to instead learn about our identity from the God who created us and placed us where we are for a purpose. Tauren said himself that he enjoys making Christian music that isn’t typical of the normal style, so it stands out so people can hear the truth.
