Where The Spirit Of The Lord Is - Life.Church Worship
This song made Song Of The Week 7th October
2 Corinthians 3:17 (NLT) “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
‘Where The Spirit Of The Lord Is’ is a song that shows us the power of what God’s presence can do and what it can bring if we invite it into our lives. As the lyrics say “Where the spirit of the lord is, there is life. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” It also shows us that God’s presence and spirit isn’t restricted by our humanly ways, He is always in every place we go. We are never without God.
Called To Praise - Kingdom Culture Worship
This song made Song Of The Week 14th October
Isaiah 54:2-3 (NLT) “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.”
Called To Praise is a song about praising God and dancing over the very thing you are struggling with. It’s about having faith in God’s goodness despite the obvious challenge you face. It was written in the midst of pain but learning to still praise God through it all. Don’t be afraid of what God is asking you to do, expand your horizons and believe in what God has given to you, specifically for you.
Refuge (Psalm 91) - ZOE Worship
This song made Song Of The Week 21st October
Psalm 91:2-3(NLT) “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust Him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.”
‘Refuge’ is a song based on Psalm 91 which talks about God being our protector and our sanctuary in times when we need his security. Also it reminds us of the truth that once we’ve accepted God into our lives, He says “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honour them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16 NLT)
Free Indeed - C3 Music
This song made Song Of The Week on 28th October.
John 8:36 (NLT) “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
This song is very simple but rings true with so much biblical truth about who we are as children of God. The chorus repeats “...He who the son sets free, is free, free indeed”, taken straight from John 8. Jesus set us free from all our sin when He died on the cross. Because of this death, it means we have access to God’s unconditional love and His forgiveness.
